The Picture of Dorita Gray

by Glen L. Bledsoe

Few people know that Oscar Wilde wrote a sequel to his famous novel "The Picture of Dorian Gray" (in which Dorian Gray's portrait ages while he stays young) entitled "The Picture of Dorita Gray." Doria was a cousin or twin, I think, who wished to eat as much as she wanted. Her portrait gained weight while she remained thin. Wilde never finished the manuscript and so today's readers will never learn the secret for keeping a girlish figure.
